Hi 59 °F

To provide another excellent weekend of steelheading, though by the looks of the rivers today plenty of you are getting out and taking advantage of the great conditions before the rains.

It seems as though the West side is picking up a bit as i did some nosing around out that way today on the Vermilion and Rocky for old times and saw many fish in the rivers and many on the end of anglers lines. The east side is going strong and expect to see more chrome in the rivers as the rain brings up water levels.

VERMILION RUNNING CLEAR AT 67 CFS AND HOLDING FISH.

CHAGRIN 210 CFS, RUNNING CLEAR W/ PLENTY OF FISH

FISH ON....THE ROCKY RUNNING CLEAR @ 200CFS
AND FISHING PRETTY WELL.

CONNEAUT: 2 FEET OF VIS ON THE CONNIE AND PLENTY OF FRESH AND OLDER FISH
ARE PRESENT IN THIS EAST SIDE TRIB.

GRAND: SEEMS TO HAVE PLENTY OF FRESH FISH BUT VIS IS STILL POOR, AROUND A FOOT AND STILL RUNNING DIRTY BROWN.

HOT PATTERNS: CADDIS LARVA HAVE COME INTO THERE OWN AND HAVE BEEN TAKING FISH CONSISTENTLY ON THE EAST SIDE AS WELL AS GOLDEN STONES AND PHEASANT TAILS. SUCKER SPAWN AND GLO BUGS HAVE ALSO BEEN FISHING WELL AS THE SPAWN IS ON AND PLENTY OF EGGS ARE WASHING DOWNSTREAM.
