FRESH RUN STEEL THAT FELL FOR A BLACK/RED
STRING LEECH ON THE SWING.

MIKE PROVED THAT HE COULD STILL GET IT DONE ON
THE CHAGRIN YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.

NICE JOB MIKE!!!

That is what i think raindrops and rising rivers call to Steelhead this time of year. Today some rivers are fishing and some are blown.

Grand River: Blown out, 1100 cfs and rising. Tribs are fine.

Chagrin: Fishing well, a little off color from yesterdays rain around a foot and a half of vis. but improving hourly and should be prime by Fri and weekend.

Elk Creek: Fishing well with some color in the holes from yesterdays rain but clearing fast.

Conneaut Creek: Blown out from recent rains, not sure of exact conditions or when it will fish but will have it posted by tomorrow evening.

We have heard very little about the West side streams but what we have heard has not been good. Not to worry though it will pick up soon.

Swinging Streamers, big string leeches (4") in red/black. blue/black, or Chart/black has been very effective for us here at the shop this week. If you are indicator fishing soft hackle pheasant tails, steelhead princes, sucker spawns, and Russian river specials have been very good. Also remember if you are not sure what to fish it's hard to go wrong with some type of wooly bugger or streamer dead drifted through the holes and along the seems.

APRIL FOOLS DAY SURPRISE ON CHAGRIN.....Sweet..
